Former LA Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is not just an NBA veteran, but he is a growing voice in the NBA media space as well. The host of his own podcast, Beverley has also made television appearances on ESPN, which actually led to Barstool offering him his own show.

With this new growth for Beverley in the media space, the veteran guard has an increased level of appreciation and interest for that side of sports. One of the hottest topics in the sports media world right now is Shannon Sharpe leaving Skip Bayless and Undisputed, and who will potentially replace Sharpe on the popular talk show.

One recent report said Nick Wright of First Things First could be a replacement for Sharpe, and Beverley slammed this news with a concise but loud message on Twitter:

Wright is a polarizing future in the sports media space, well-known for his LeBron James fandom; however, he does provide quality analysis at times. Sports media has become very narrative-driven, especially shows like Undisputed and First Things First. While some people enjoy this, others prefer more actual analysis - which Wright is capable of; however, that's not usually what occurs on many of these talk shows.

For Beverley, he clearly objects to the idea of Wright teaming up with Bayless, slamming the analyst with a simple trash can emoji on Twitter.
