The day has come for the very anticipated playoff rematch between the LA Clippers and Phoenix Suns. Unfortunately for the Clippers, they won't get the healthy rematch that they were hoping for.

Paul George will officially miss Game 1 against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night. His injury is a continuation of the knee sprain that he suffered against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

From the start of the playoffs, the LA Clippers should have anticipated Paul George to be out during Game 1 of the series against the Suns. This is something the Clippers have spent a week practicing and should have an answer to. However, that doesn't make the situation any less grim for the Clippers. To be missing Paul George against an incredibly stacked Phoenix Suns team with Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant will be very daunting.

Without Paul George on the court, there will be a ton of added responsibility for players like Norman Powell, Kawhi Leonard, Terance Mann, and Eric Gordon. It's going to be a collective effort for the LA Clippers to make up for the absence of Paul George against the Phoenix Suns.
