Terance Mann Launches Terance Mann Complete Player Foundation

In this story:
On a Sunday afternoon, Terance Mann launched the Terance Mann Complete Player Foundation. In its opening clinic, he had over 60 children attend a basketball camp seminar, free of charge in Downey, California. It's a decision that was near to his heart.
"I think, you know, we want to launch it here, do a hard launch here for reasons," Mann said to AllClippers. "Obviously, the Clippers and you know, we have a lot of traction here. So, it's exciting for us to be able to do this. We did a little soft launch in New York last week, which was dope, we wanted to bring the kids out to this."
The foundation is committed to increasing opportunities for students by providing access to sports. During the launch, Mann revealed that he was pledging $400,000 - an idea he and his mother had together as she is the executive director of the foundation.

"Sports was an avenue for me to stay out of trouble while my friends were doing all sorts of things, I was able to play baseball, soccer, or basketball on the court," Mann said in a press release. "So my family and I definitely use sports as a positive outlet to stay focused and out of trouble."
One thing Mann emphasized numerous times throughout the launch was how passionate he was about the foundation and making people happy. For Mann, bringing people into his world and making them a part of the dream is a very important goal.
"I don't golf, I don't do anything else," Mann said to AllClippers. "I just like changing people's lives. That's what I like doing off the court."

Yesterday was the start of something much bigger than basketball for Terance Mann. It was a moment that will hopefully define his legacy beyond the court, and far after his career is over.
