Top Performers in Utah Jazz's Victory Over the Houston Rockets

Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz to a victory over the Rockets on Friday night.

The Utah Jazz took down a shorthanded Houston Rockets team 114-99 in their first game since the All-Star break. It wasn't always pretty - the Jazz committed 17 turnovers and allowed 20 offensive rebounds. The Jazz overcame their mistakes, however, and pulled away late. Here are the top three performers in the Jazz's victory over the Rockets.

1. Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell got off to a quick start against the Rockets - he scored 13 points in the first quarter. Mitchell finished with 28 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. Seemingly every time Mitchell was on the floor, the Jazz went on a run. He finished +21 in +/-. The Rockets were mounting a comeback in the fourth quarter until Mitchell checked in and helped the Jazz extend the lead once again.

2. Rudy Gobert

Rudy Gobert finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Gobert's defense was fantastic on Friday night.

3. Mike Conley

Fresh off his first All-Star appearance, Mike Conley scored 20 points on 8/12 shooting against the Rockets. Conley had a few key buckets to extend the lead late in the game. He also added four assists and three rebounds.
