After a miserable 114-110 defeat Wednesday against the young, disorganized Houston Rockets, your Los Angeles Lakers are hoping to right the ship and resume their march towards a .500 record for literally the first time this season.

So can LA do it? Let's see what Vegas thinks (via The Action Network).

The Game Spread

LA is actually expected to win today's matchup by a pretty comfortable five points. If Davis can play, the Lakers should win. Without, him the team may struggle to contain the Mavericks' various scoring options. Assume Davis will suit up, and thus take the team to cover.

Anthony Davis' Total Combined Points + Rebounds

The over/under for the 6'10" AD to hit is somewhat variable. Take 42.5 combined points and rebounds, as Davis for this season is averaging 26.1 points on .561/.269/.805 shooting splits, 12.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.1 blocks a night. Though his season averages are lower than that combined number, Davis is capable of getting there tonight against a lackluster Mavericks interior presence (with apologies to Maxi Kleber).
