Legendary late Los Angeles Lakers Hall of Fame shooting guard Kobe Bryant was the first-ever athlete to have his hand- and footprints cast into concrete at Hollywood's historic TCL Chinese Theater along the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February 2011.

Now, those prints are finally being enshrined, per Kelli Johnson of Fox 11 Los Angeles. They were unveiled recently with Bryant's widow, Vanessa, and their three surviving daughters in attendance, along with Los Angeles Lakers team majority owner Jeanie Buss.

"As you visit here for years to come, I encourage you to place your hands in his and take a moment to stand in his shoes," Bryant's eldest daughter, Natalia, currently a film major at USC, said to a gathered crowd.

"This day symbolizes the impact he had on a city he loved and cared for," she said.

His former Lakers teammate Derek Fisher, with whom Bryant won five NBA titles, reflected on the moment in a recent Spectrum SportsNet broadcast commemorating the honor.

An 18-time All-Star, Bryant is universally considered one of the league's best-ever players. Along with Hall of Fame big man colleagues Shaquille O'Neal and Pau Gasol, Bryant led LA to seven total NBA Finals, winning the aforementioned five. He holds career regular season averages of 25 points on .447/.329/.837 shooting splits, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists.
