The Los Angeles Lakers are getting set for their most important game of the season on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans, and good news, superstar big man Anthony Davis will be in the lineup.

Davis had been listed as "probable" to play all day with his ongoing injury issues, and has really been listed as "probable" pretty much every day since he's returned.

But the good news is he'll be in the lineup, and hopefully, he's able to get back on track after a quiet last two games for the Lakers.

The Lakers will, of course, still be without LeBron James, who's continuing to recover from his right foot injury. On Tuesday, the Lakers got another not very promising update on James, saying he's likely going to miss a "significant chunk" of the team's remaining regular season games.

As for the rest of the Lakers' injury report, Mo Bamba still remains out, and Cole Swider and Scotty Pippen Jr. are with the South Bay Lakers.

Tip-off for Tuesday's crucial game is at 5:00 p.m. PST. The Lakers must win for a variety of reasons, so let's hope they can get it done with AD in the lineup against his former team.

In his nine career games against the Pelicans, Davis is averaging 27.1 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.1 blocks per game, with an overall +/- of +94 and a record of 7-2. Let's hope that trend continues on Tuesday night.
