LeBron James Had NSFW Hype Message to Luka Doncic Ahead of Lakers Debut

The Los Angeles Lakers had one of the most anticipated games of the entire NBA season on Monday night. They were taking on the Utah Jazz at home while Luka Doncic was making his Lakers debut.
Doncic was acquired before the trade deadline in one of the most shocking trades in NBA history. Trading Anthony Davis for him was a no-brainer in the minds of Rob Pelinka and the rest of the Lakers' front office.
Doncic played in his first game since Christmas because of a calf injury. He only played 24 minutes but helped the Lakers blitz the Jazz 132-113.

The Lakers were really excited for him to make his debut. They look forward to having him on the roster for the next decade. LeBron James was especially hyped for him to take the court.
Prior to the game against Utah, he had an NSFW message to make sure that he was playing his game and not trying to make others on the team happy.
"Luka, be your f---ing self. Don't fit in, fit the f--- out."

Famously, when the Cavaliers traded for Kevin Love to pair up with James in Cleveland, James had a tweet about him needing to fit in. He tweeted that he wanted Love to fit in instead of fit-out.
He had the exact opposite message for Doncic, who is a much more dynamic player than Love was. Doncic is good enough that he can carry an entire team on his back if he needs to.

James understands what a special talent Doncic is. He also understands that he is the future of the organization once he himself retires.
The Lakers are hoping that Doncic can knock off the rust after the All-Star break and start to really get himself going. The Lakers are now fourth in the Western Conference standings after winning then of their last eleven games.
Doncic is certainly going to play his game, and everyone else is going to have to learn how to play with him. That's what happens when you're a top-three player in the league.
So far this year, Doncic is averaging 27.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game.
