Magic Ex Tracy McGrady on Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: 'So F****** Good'

Former Orlando Magic and Hall of Fame forward Tracy McGrady spoke on the What's Burnin' show regarding Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.

A seven-time NBA All Star over his career, Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady played a key part of the NBA transitioning into position-less basketball.

At 6-8, with few limitations on the basketball court, the two-time scoring champ was an all-around superstar on both ends over his 16-year career.

"Tracy really could do it all," former Toronto Raptors Executive Vice President Isiah Thomas said via Yahoo Sports. "He could pass, he could shoot, but he was a willing passer. He wasn’t a passer looking to fill the stat sheet, although he did fill the stat sheet with his play. He played the game in a very unselfish way.”

Now cemented forever in Springfield, Massachusetts, the Orlando Magic four-time All Star gets the opportunity to enjoy the foundation he played a role in building.

Including witnessing a seven-footer on the Denver Nuggets that is breaking records untouched since Wilt Chamberlain.

"[Nikola Jokic] is so f****** good, man," McGrady said on the What's Burnin' Show. "I haven't seen anything like him. The way he passes, you got a 7-0 center bringing up the ball, initiating the offense, everything goes through him. It is amazing the passes he makes from one side of the court to the other on time and on target."

The two-time MVP recently broke Chamberlain's record for most triple-doubles in a single playoff run with nine and counting.

"I would love to play for him, he's a problem," McGrady said. "He's like Jason Kidd as a point guard. Those guys don't have to score to affect the game, but he can score, he shoots the three."

Following the Nuggets Game 1 victory over the Miami Heat, Jokic (27 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds), joined Kidd as the only players in NBA history to record a triple-double in their NBA Finals debut.

Unfortunately, basketball fans can only imagine what a duo of McGrady and Jokic would look like in today's game.
