Nets forward Garret Temple has learned the hard way on Monday night against New Orleans Pelicans.

Temple did a one-handed slam dunk in the first quarter and was mocked by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, who both were unimpressed by Temple’s game on the court. Check out the footage from NBA’s tweet embedded below:

Durant gave a thumbs down while Irving puts his hands down and pointed out that Temple barely jumped for the slam.

Temple finished with scoring 13 points and four assists in 26 minutes off the bench and the team had a 135-125 win on Monday. Irving, the star player, led the team with 39 points, nine assists, four rebounds, and three steals.

"We obviously wanted to come out and win this game and really put a statement down for the rest of the week before we go on this long trip, so it was good," Irving said to ESPN.

Durant approved Irving’s finisher with a one-legged stepback jumper.

The Nets hit the road with a five-game trip starting this Friday with a night matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. After the Blazers, they will play against Phoenix, Chicago, Denver, and Utah.
