DeJuan Blair has been out of the Spurs' rotation for months, a victim of the specific quirks of San Antonio's lineups and the more general difficulty of carving out playing time on a deep roster. Yet Blair has made the most of his limited minutes this season, putting up numbers that when extrapolated to 36 minutes would equal a line of 13.9 points (on 52 percent shooting), 9.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals. It's a gift to be able to produce in unreliable minutes, but the secret to Blair's consistent readiness is undoubtedly his thorough pregame ritual -- a choreographed affair that channels Blair's energies toward the challenges of the game to come.
