Friday November 22nd, 2013

Thunder fan Brad Brucker hit a half-court shot to win $20,000 during Oklahoma City's 105-91 victory over the L.A. Clippers at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday night.

Brucker celebrated his money-making effort with rapper and entrepreneur Jay Z, who was in attendance at the game with his wife, pop singer Beyonce.

The shot marks the fifth time since March and the second time this week that a Thunder fan has hit a half-court shot as part of the promotion.

"We might go broke after these guys, they're hitting every half-court shot,'' Kevin Durant joked, according to the Associated Press.

Brucker is a 33-year-old business teacher at Piedmont High School in Oklahoma. He banked in his half-court attempt while wearing a blue Thunder jersey, blue jeans and a Thunder hat turned backwards. The four previous makes by Thunder fans: Heath Kufahl hits the shot to fund his wife's cancer battle, Justin Dougherty hits the shot and hugs Kevin Durant, a fan knocks one down during Game 1 of a first-round playoff series against the Rockets, and Cameron Rodriguez hits the shot on Monday.
