Bobcats push paint-dominant Al Jefferson for All-NBA consideration

With the end of the NBA season comes voting for its individual awards, and with that voting comes the full-on campaigning aimed at those who have an official ballot. It's commonplace for teams to send out a "for your consideration" package of some kind to those who determine the awards' winners, though the scope and creativity of those promotional items have ramped up significantly over time. One notable example from this year's crop: "Big Al's Paint" -- a tribute to the post work of Al Jefferson and the area of the floor he so thoroughly dominates.

The package itself was showcased by the Bobcats' PR department, who tweeted an image of the Jefferson-emblazoned paint can and accessories that made its way out to award voters:

Some really sharp design work, that. The paint swatches in particular are just a fantastic idea -- a little handout with descriptions of what Jefferson does well, shaded in team colors for a slick presentation. The rest of the package completes the theme nicely, which is really fleshed out in full on the matching website. Drop by for effusive praise of Jefferson from across the league, statistical basis for his excellence and all the paint puns you could ever want.
