HOUSTON — The non-alcoholic beverage company Liquid Death announced Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green as the latest ambassador for their product. He joins a prominent roster that includes Whitney Cummings, Austin Ekeler, Tony Hawk, Cameron Heyward and Tom Segura.

Liquid Death and Green announced their partnership Tuesday morning in a hilarious ad to lunch a new campaign called, The Liquid Death Hoop Head.

The marketing campaign advertises a limited-edition basketball that allows the consumers to feel like they are playing with an actual severed head.

The design features a screaming face with a missing eyeball and a bloody severed neck. The limited-edition basketball is available exclusively at LiquidDeath.com for $125.

Liquid Death is the latest endorsement deal for Green — which also includes Adidas, Paco Rabanne and UnDn Laqr.

Green is coming up on the end of his sophomore season with the Rockets. He is currently averaging 22.0 points in 70 games and leads all prospects in scoring from the 2021 NBA Draft.

In a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers Sunday night, Green scored 30 points on 10-for-17 shooting, 5-for-11 from behind the arc, with 14 coming in the third quarter.

"I've been taking the shots my guys give me instead of forcing them all the time," Green said. "My guys have been locked in and setting screens, and we have been executing the offense well too. That has played a big role in how I've been scoring."
