Rockets' Danny Green Gets Buyout, John Wall Next?

HOUSTON — The Houston Rockets completed a three-team deal ahead of the NBA trade deadline on Thursday. ... but the movement is ongoing.
The Rockets sent Eric Gordon to the Los Angeles Clippers for John Wall and rights to a pick swap. The Clippers sent Luke Kennard to the Memphis Grizzlies while trading Danny Green to Houston.
The Rockets are planning to waive Wall once the trade becomes official. And while a source told Inside The Rockets that Green's future in Houston was uncertain. ... as of Sunday he's agreed to a buyout with a chance to move to a contender.
The Dallas Mavs, already featuring newcomer Kyrie Irving alongside Luka Doncic, are among the teams interested in Green.
Due to a torn ACL and LCL injury to his left knee, Green's recovery limited him to three games with the Grizzlies this season. He shot 37.5 percent from deep with the Grizzlies while averaging 14.3 minutes.
Green sustained the knee injury during the Philadelphia 76ers' second-round series against the Miami Heat in May.
The Rockets were busy during the final hours of the trade deadline. Before sending Gordon to the Clippers, the Rockets dealt Garrison Mathews and Bruno Fernando to the Atlanta Hawks. In exchange, Houston received Justin Holiday, Frank Kaminsky and a pair of second-round picks.
