Suns-Mavericks Injury Report: Deandre Ayton Probable

The Phoenix Suns are hoping to end their homestand undefeated when the Dallas Mavericks come to town. Here's tonight's injury report heading into the game.

The Phoenix Suns have released their injury report for Thursday night's meeting with the Dallas Mavericks:

Josh Okogie (Nasal Fracture) is Available

Okogie - masked up -has powered through a broken nose in the last few games, even scoring 24 points against the Pacers on Saturday night.

Deandre Ayton (Illness) is Probable

This will be the first game Ayton has played in a week after getting sick on Saturday morning with a non-COVID illness. He's had a double-double in his last five-of-six games.

Devin Booker (Left Groin Strain) is Out

The Suns revealed yesterday that Booker would be reevaluated again in a week after aggravating a groin injury on Christmas Day.

Cameron Payne (Right Foot Sprain) is Out

Payne will also be reevaluated next week with a foot injury that's kept him out since Jan. 4.

Landry Shamet (Right Foot Soreness) is Out

Shamet has also missed time with a foot injury and has played more recently than Payne, last touching the court on Jan. 16.

Mavericks Injury Report:

Maxi Kleber (Right Hamstring Tear) is Out

Christian Wood (Left thumb Fracture) is Out

Phoenix hopes to conclude their homestand with an undefeated record of 5-0, as their win on Tuesday put them over .500 with a record of 25-24.

Opening tip is expected just a few minutes after 8 PM MST.
