Paul Pierce Says Suns' Championship Window is Closed
Not everybody believes the Phoenix Suns can win the NBA Finals this season.
On SHOWTIME Basketball's podcast "All The Smoke" that features Kevin Garnett, Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson and Paul Pierce, the crew discussed the state of the Suns in their latest episode.
"It's time for them to put this together. This nucleus has been together long enough to where they need to start drawing it in," said Garnett.
Barnes mentioned Phoenix has a few young pieces aside their core that should be able to help propel the team, but Pierce wasn't having it.
After not knowing JaVale McGee had departed the team, Pierce said the Suns' championship window was closed.
