Multiple Former Suns Cameo in Adam Sandler's Netflix Movie 'Hustle'

Sandler's new movie features plenty of faces from the basketball world, some representing the Phoenix Suns.

Adam Sandler's new movie "Hustle" is now climbing up the charts on Netflix, and its got the entire basketball world in frenzy.

"Hustle" is about a basketball scout who discovers a raw yet extremely talented player in Spain and tries to prepare him as he enters NBA Draft.

According to UK site Independent, Sandler's most recent work might just be some of the top work he's done.

"On Rotten Tomatoes, a review aggregate site, the film has a critics score of 89 per cent, putting it in third place behind The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) and Uncut Gems.

"But, excitingly for Sandler, Hustle is currently the feature film most liked by his fans; it is the highest-rated film of his entire career when judged by the audience score.

"Hustle has 94 per cent, which is followed up by Happy Gilmore (85 per cent) and Reign Over Me‘s 81 per cent – not including Sandler’s stand-up shows or documentary appearances."

What people love most about the film are the numerous cameos of NBA players and personalities alike.

Big names such as Luka Doncic, Dr. J, Trae Young, Dirk Nowitzki, Allen Iverson, Brad Stevens, Jay Wright, Mark Cuban and Doc Rivers merely scratch the surface of appearances in the film.

The Phoenix Suns have a few players of their own in the film, although none are currently on the roster today.

Charles Barkley- Barkley is considered to be one of the best players in Suns franchise history, and his acting skills may not be a surprise to those that have enjoyed him on the set of 'NBA on TNT' all these years.

Shaquille O'Neal- What basketball movie would be complete without Shaq? The big man who spent only a small amount of time with Phoenix but is still beloved by Suns fans across the board.

Leandro Barbosa- Barbosa carried the nickname "The Brazilian Blur" and with good reason, as his speed and overall abilities helped him with Sixth Man of the Year during his many years with the Suns.

NBA agent Bill Duffy is also in the film. Duffy currently represents Suns players Deandre Ayton and Aaron Holiday, while his client list also includes Goran Dragic and Steve Nash.
