Suns' Devin Booker Exits vs Raptors With Possible Injury
PHOENIX -- In the first half of the Phoenix Suns' battle against the Toronto Raptors, point guard Devin Booker departed the game and went to the locker room.
Now, in the second half, Booker suffered what appeared to be an ankle injury before heading to the bench before eventually making his way to the locker room.
*UPDATE: Booker has emerged out of the locker room, is still in full uniform and looks to be talking with Suns coach Frank Vogel*
*UPDATE: With 3:59 left in the third, Booker has entered the game*
It's currently unknown why Booker initially left action in the first half.
Booker had no injury designation heading into tonight. Before departing in the first half, he played 13 minutes and tallied just four points on 1-7 shooting with two rebounds and two assists.
Booker initially struggled with injuries to begin the season, sitting out the team's preseason finale and missing various games to start the regular season campaign due to lower body injuries such as a calf strain, ankle sprain and foot/toe issues as well.
The Suns are currently riding a seven-game win streak as Toronto plays host to them. The Raptors themselves have lost two in a row.
Phoenix has a handful of tough matchups ahead, as they'll return home on Friday to host the Denver Nuggets before welcoming the Memphis Grizzlies the night after. Next Tuesday, the Suns travel to take on the Los Angeles Lakers in the quarterfinals of the NBA In-Season Tournament.
