The Oklahoma City Thunder began the rebuilding process back in July when they dealt Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers.  In the process of acquiring fifteen first-round picks for the services of Geroge, Russell Westbrook, and Jerami Grant Sam Presti also procured Dinallo Gallinari and Chris Paul.

In Presti's perfect world, Gallinari and Paul will yield even more draft capital for Oklahoma City to use either on picks or to garner ready-made NBA talent. Both CP3 and Gallinari know they are trade bait. And despite what Paul may have said during media day about being committed to OKC, all indications are that he wants to play for a contender, not a reclamation project. You can't blame him; he's thirty-four hasn't won a championship and has accumulated more miles than Uber driver in San Francisco.

Still, it's hard to imagine either one of these guys packing it in a while playing for the Thunder. And if you're worried about all of Presti's draft picks becoming less valuable, don't.

We'll tell you on this episode of the SI Thunder Maven podcast, why you may want to use your draft picks to put talent around two building blocks already on the roster.

Also, we'll touch on the NBA going too far with their new zero-tolerance policy for fans. Andre Roberson was going one on one with Steven Adams at practice, does that mean he's any closer to coming back? We answer that and tell you what Billy Donvan had to say about Dre's staus. Plus, we're having trouble finding roles Deonte Bruton and Abdel Nader, could their team-friendly contracts put them in the middle of trade talks? We're only one day away from the tipoff of the 2019-2020 season, join us for all the Thunder you can handle on the SI Thunder Maven Podcast.
