Andrew Wiggins’ Updated Status vs Los Angeles Lakers

The Golden State Warriors entered the All-Star break shorthanded, and it looks like they're going to come out of it shorthanded as well. Steph Curry remains injured and unavailable, but it also looks like Andrew Wiggins will remain unavailable.
Wiggins missed last Tuesday's game against the LA Clippers due to a personal reason, and he still isn't traveling with the Warriors. He is expected to miss Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers and has no set return date.
I hope Andrew Wiggins' family is okay. After missing last Tuesday's game due to a family matter, he's still not with the team & expected to miss Thursday's game with no set return date. If you're a Warriors fan criticizing him for being out (I've seen it) - just don't. #DubNation

With the way things stand, the Golden State Warriors are currently in the 9th seed with a 29-29 record. They're only 2.5 games ahead of the 13th-seeded Los Angeles Lakers, and one game from being out of the play-in tournament entirely. A loss against the Los Angeles Lakers would legitimately put them in jeopardy of being out of the play-in tournament entirely.
While the Golden State Warriors will likely be very shorthanded against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, it's still not an impossibility. The team nearly beat a fully healthy LA Clippers team on the road on Tuesday, and just won their previous game before that. The margin for error will be very slim for the Warriors, and they will likely have to make a plethora of three-pointers.
The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers tipoff on Thursday, February 23, at 10:00 PM ET.
