Vince Carter Reveals Harsh Reality for Warriors' Playoff Hopes

Vince Carter no longer believes in the Golden State Warriors.

It feels like the new trending topic right now is for analysts to talk about how they've given up on the Golden State Warriors this season. The latest to do so was NBA Legend, Vince Carter.

Carter went on SportsCenter where he revealed some very harsh comments about his belief in the Warriors' playoff chances.

"I'm convinced that at 7-27, the way Golden State's defense has played, that they won't make it far in the playoffs," Carter said. "I'm not saying they won't get in, they'll get in. But I just think with their defense on the road, if they're in the position in the top 4 where they get homecourt advantage first and foremost, they have a better chance in my opinion. Because if you do your business at home, you now go on the road, if you split, that's great, it's 2-2, instead of the other way around, instead of 0-2 with the pressure on yourself. So I'm convinced that right now, the Golden State Warriors will not do well and won't make it deep in the playoffs with this defense right now."

The Golden State Warriors have 11 games left this season. Six of those games are on the road, and five of them are at home. While it's understandable to not believe in them as championship contenders, it's still way too early to be completely out on them this season. A home record of 29-7 is simply too good to overlook.
