Terrelle Pryor can finally join his Oakland Raiders teammates, even if it might be awhile before he sees any real action.

Pryor's five-game suspension for "undermining the integrity of the NFL Draft" ended Sunday, after the Raiders won in Week 5 at Houston. The controversial ex-Ohio State QB is now eligible to be added to the Raiders' 53-man active roster and participate in practice.

Under the terms of his suspension, Pryor was eligible to play in the preseason but could not take part in any on-field activities once the regular season began. Pryor did not see any action in the preseason.

Oakland's quarterback situation looks more more settled now than it did when the Raiders took Pryor in the supplemental draft. At the time, starter Jason Campbell was on the hot seat following an up-and-down 2010. Campbell hasn't been lights out in 2011, either, with just six touchdown passes to four interceptions. But Oakland finds itself 3-2, one game out in the AFC West and in the thick of the playoff chase.

So, Pryor's first game action -- at least at QB -- could still be a long ways off. Still, Pryor is excited to have the chance, finally, to join his teammates.
