GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) Arizona running back Andre Ellington and San Diego tight end Antonio Gates are active for the Monday night game between the Cardinals and Chargers.

Ellington was questionable because of an injured left foot. The decision to let him play was made after he worked out before the game. Gates was listed as questionable after hurting a hamstring in practice on Saturday.

Arizona punter Dave Zastudil, bothered by a left groin injury, also was active. A second punter, Drew Butler, was signed by Arizona earlier in the day and also was active.

Safety Tyrann Mathieu, coming back from knee surgery, was inactive as was Chargers backup safety Jaheel Addae, who missed practice all of last week with a hamstring injury.
