Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is listed as questionable on Washington's Week 8 injury report

Griffin has not played since he dislocated his ankle in Week 2 against the Jaguars. He returned to practice on Oct. 15.

Washington head coach Jay Gruden said Wednesday that he "would guarantee" Griffin returns by Week 11.

NBC's Dianna Marie Russini reported Wednesday that there was "no chance" Griffin would play Monday.

Gruden said earlier this week that Colt McCoy would be the team's starting quarterback on Monday against the Cowboys unless Griffin was 100 percent healthy.

Kirk Cousins had started the last five games for Washington, but was replaced by McCoy during last week's game against the Titans. McCoy led a second-half comeback, completing 11 of 12 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown in a 19-17 win.

Washington is 2-5 this season and in last place in the NFC East.
