Favre's Packers HOF induction to be shown on Lambeau video screens
Favre, the former quarterback and Green Bay great, said earlier this week he hoped the Packers would open the event, to be held July 18, to the public. The team announced Friday that the ceremony will be broadcast on the stadium's video boards and that fans were welcome to attend.
Tickets to watch the induction ceremony in the Lambeau stands are available for $4, with net proceeds going to Favre's Favre 4 Hope Foundation.

“This viewing opportunity from the stadium will be a unique complement to a special evening and allow more people to share their excitement with Brett,” Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said in the team's statement.
Favre plans to make an appearance inside the bowl to address fans at some point during the evening.
For fans unable to watch from Lambeau Field, the ceremony will be live streamed and shown on television.
Favre, 45, holds franchise records for passing yards, passing touchdowns, completions and attempts. He led the team to a Super Bowl title following the 1996 season.
