Heinz Field, the home of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers, will keep its name.
On Wednesday, Kraft Foods and H.J. Heinz announced they would merge as part of a deal backed by billionaire Warren Buffett.
If the merger is approved, the new company will be called Kraft Heinz Co., according to H.J. Heinz Group, the report said. But a Heinz official assured the stadium's name would not change despite the merger.
Heinz Field, which also hosts the University of Pittsburgh's football games, was completed in 2001 and seats 65,500 people.
Heinz signed a 20-year naming deal upon the stadium's opening for $57 million, AP said.
