Free-agent wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will sign with the Tennessee Titans, reports Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo.

According to Garafolo, Nicks recently met with the Titans after meeting with the San Francisco 49ers in late March.

The 27-year-old spent last season with the Indianapolis Colts after five years with the New York Giants, who drafted him in the first round in 2009. Over 16 games in 2014 he made six starts and recorded 38 catches for 405 yards and four touchdowns.

Earlier this month, Nicks told Fox Sports that he's "nowhere near finished" and wants "to prove that to the world and everybody."

Nicks won Super Bowl XLVI while with the Giants. That year, he caught a career-high 1,192 receiving yards to go along with seven touchdowns. In May 2012, Nicks sustained a broken foot, and he later dealt with a knee injury throughout the 2012 season.

The Titans finished 2–14 last season and hold the No. 2 pick in next week's NFL draft.
