Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant addressed his current contract dispute on Twitter Wednesday, asking “So how am I selfish?”
The Cowboys placed the franchise tag on Bryant this off-season, which would pay him $12.823 million, but Bryant is holding out and hoping to secure a long-term deal.
Bryant was a Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro selection after he caught 88 passes for 1,320 yards and a league-high 16 touchdowns last season.
Bryant's agent reiterated on Tuesday that his client is willing to skip regular season games if he doesn't have a multi-year deal in place. Players who have been franchise tagged have until July 15 to sign a long-term extension.
