A man was critically wounded in a shooting outside AT&T Stadium in Dallas after Sunday’s Cowboys game, a police spokesman confirmed to the Dallas Morning News. The suspect has been arrested.

Police responded to a report of a fight in a stadium parking lot at 8:20 p.m. local time and heard a single gunshot as they arrived on the scene. They found the victim, a man in his early 40s, with a gunshot wound and he was transported to a local hospital. He was subsequently airlifted to another hospital because of the gravity of his injuries.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital with a leg injury. Police believe he was injured while trying to flee.

The Cowboys played the Patriots in a game that kicked off at 3 p.m. local time. Neighboring Globe Life Park was hosting an MLB playoff game between the Rangers and Blue Jays at the time of the shooting.
