Report: Bills’ Seantrel Henderson has Crohn’s, could miss rest of season

Thursday December 17th, 2015

Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson has Crohn’s disease and could miss the rest of the season as he undergoes treatment, according to The Buffalo News.

Crohn’s is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease, and the 23-year-old Henderson reportedly has lost almost 20 pounds and is suffering from stomach pain.

The News reports Henderson was hospitalized in Philadelphia over the weekend, leading to him missing the team’s game against the Eagles, and that he did not travel back to Buffalo with the Bills.

Henderson has been listed with an illness on the team injury report and did not practice Wednesday. Rex Ryan would not address the specifics of his situation last week, but Henderson was expected to play on Sunday against Philadelphia and was instead inactive.
