Carolina Panthers rout Arizona Cardinals 49-15 to win NFC Championship
Monday January 25th, 2016

Patrick Peterson appeared to give the Cardinals life at the end of the first half.

Then Kurt Coleman took it away.

The Panthers and Cardinals traded interceptions near the end of the second quarter of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game. First, Peterson redeemed an earlier fumble with an interception and huge return into Carolina territory.

But the Cardinals could not capitalize, as Carson Palmer was intercepted by Coleman in the end zone on the very next play.

The Panthers took a 24–7 lead into halftime.
