Former Broncos and Patriots running back Montee Ball was arrested over the weekend.
Former Denver Broncos and New England Patriots running back Montee Ball was arrested and charged with jumping bail over the weekend, reports WKOW.com in Wisconsin.
Police were called to a bar in Whitewater, Wisc., where they found Ball, who is currently under felony bond conditions to stay out of bars and not consume alcohol, according to the report.
Ball was charged with misdemeanor domestic abuse after a February arrest for allegedly throwing his girlfriend across their hotel room. He was then charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors stemming from an alleged incident in 2014.
Ball was a second-round selection of the Broncos in 2013. He played in five games with Denver in 2014, but was released by the team before the 2015 season. In December, the New England Patriots signed Ball to their practice squad before releasing him on Feb. 9.
Ball pleaded not guilty to the February charges and his trial is scheduled for May.
