Free agent defensive end Greg Hardy visited and worked out with the Jacksonville Jaguars this week.
Free agent defensive end Greg Hardy visited and worked out with the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, reports Rand Getlin of NFL Network.
This is the first reported interest in the troubled player since he became a free agent in March. Hardy spent 2015 with the Dallas Cowboys, missing four games due to a suspension that came as a result of an investigated domestic violence case.
The case was eventually dropped after the accuser, Nicole Holder, did not cooperate with authorities. Hardy was originally suspended 10 games for conduct detrimental to the league, but had that reduced after an appeal.
Hardy recorded six sacks for Dallas, but the Cowboys showed no interest in re-signing him after the season.
Malik Jackson and Dante Fowler Jr. look to be the Jaguars starters at defensive end heading into the season.
