Cheryl Bosa, the mother of San Diego Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, took to Facebook on Sunday to express her frustration in the fact that the team and her son have yet to come to terms on a contract, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Bosa was taken with the No. 3 pick in the 2016 NFL draft, but his camp feels that the Chargers have not attempted to structure a deal similar to those given to No. 3 picks in the past. San Diego has also not communicated with Bosa’s agent since July 28.

“It bums me out for him so much,” Cheryl Bosa wrote in a comment to a friend. “Wish we pulled an Eli Manning on draft day.”

Her reference is to the 2004 draft, when Manning and his family demanded a trade after he was picked by the Chargers with the No. 1 pick.

Bosa is currently the only draft pick that has not reported to training camp. He was a two-time consensus All-American during his time at Ohio State.
