Cardinals coach Bruce Arians was taken to a hospital Tuesday night after experiencing stomach pain, the team announced.
Arians and the Cardinals were scheduled to part in a joint practice with the San Diego Chargers before the coach told Arizona’s medical staff he was not feeling well. Arians was evaluated by the medical staff before being taken to a local hospital in San Diego.
Arians, 63, has been the Cardinals head coach since 2013. He previously served as offensive coordinator for the Colts and Steelers.
Arians is 34–14 in four seasons in Arizona.
