Three games highlight the start of Week 12 in the NFL on Thanksgiving with a tripleheader featuring matchups that could impact conference standings.

All six teams that play on Thursday have a .500 or above record and each are coming off a victory in their last game.

The first game is between the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions, with both teams tied in the NFC North with a 6–4 record. That is followed by the team with the NFL's best record, the Dallas Cowboys, taking on their hated rivals, the Washington Redskins.

The Redskins have won two in a row after their Sunday night thrashing of the Green Bay Packers.

The night cap features the Pittsburgh Steelers going on the road to take on the Indianapolis Colts.

The Steelers are tied with the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North with a 5–5 record, while the Colts sit 1 1/2 games behind the Houston Texas in the AFC South.
