Giants vs. Patriots how to watch

One of the NFL’s rising stars will attempt to outperform one of the greatest players to ever play the game when the New York Giants head to Foxboro, Mass. to take on the undefeated New England Patriots (5-0). With that buzz, combined with both teams looking to improve their potential postseason positioning, the stakes in this game will feel much higher than that of a typical Thursday night matchup.

Since the Giants made the move to start rookie quarterback Daniel Jones, their season has turned around somewhat. The team has won two of its three games since making the decision to bench Eli Manning, and Jones’ mobility and youth have injected some life into the Giants offense. Now Jones faces his toughest task yet, a road game against the defending Super Bowl champions on a short week.

As for the Patriots, it has been a dominant start to the season for Tom Brady and company. They are allowing a miniscule 6.8 points per game through five weeks, with Brady and the offense not needing to score much to outperform their opponents thus far. With Bill Belichick at the helm, the Patriots are 7-1 in Thursday night games dating back to 2007, with their last loss in 2008 to the New York Jets. Belichick will look to have his team well-prepared once again for this contest to continue the Patriots’ undefeated run in 2019.
