The Washington Redskins officially announced the signing of wide receiver DeSean Jackson on Wednesday, after news of the deal first surfaced last last night. Redskins players have praised the signing and shared their excitement with having Jackson on board, and cornerback DeAngelo Hall is leading the charge.

"He's the right kind of guy we need in our locker room," Hall told USA Today. "Fierce competitor and player, but great guy and humble guy that wants nothing more then to show people the real him. And there's no better place then in the nation's Capitol."

Hall's praise of Jackson and excitement overall wasn't limited to traditional forms of media. The cornerback took to his social media account to welcome his new teammate and get Redskins Nation to rally behind the latest addition to the roster.

Everyone in Washington seems to be happy after the latest signing and the players appear pleased with the direction the franchise is heading, but none of that will matter if the offseason moves don't lead to more wins on the field in 2014.
