The Tennessee Titans are still waiting to make a move regarding running back Chris Johnson, but decision time appears to be just around the corner. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Johnson will be released by the Titans at the end of this week or early next week.

The Titans have been waiting to make a decision while they make a last-minute effort to trade their running back, but his release has always been a move that was expected to come. Teams know that the Titans' hand will be forced, so they have decided to wait until he hits the open market in order to make a move.

When Johnson is finally released, multiple teams are expected to show interest, with the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets the two most likely suitors.

We can expect Johnson to begin making visits shortly after he officially receives his walking papers from the Titans.
