CINCINNATI — The Bengals are 6-4 and in second place in the AFC North.
They used all four practice squad of their protections ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.
Cincinnati protected linebacker Austin Calitro, offensive lineman Keaton Sutherland, running back Trayveon Williams and defensive tackle Renell Wren.
That means those four players can't be signed by a team this week, even if that respective organization wanted to add them to their active roster.
Meanwhile, the Steelers protected wide receivers Anthony Miller and Steven Sims. Pittsburgh also protected offensive linemen Chaz Green and John Leglue.
Non-protected players on the practice squad are able to be signed by another team, as long as that organization puts that player on the 53-man roster.
