CINCINNATI — The Bengals released veteran running back Giovani Bernard on Wednesday. The 29-year-old spent the first eight seasons of his career in Cincinnati.
He thanked fans and the people in the organization for all of the great memories.

Bernard was a great addition to the Bengals—both on and off the field. There's a chance he could head back to Florida to play for Tampa Bay or Miami. He's expected to generate plenty of interest in free agency.
