CINCINNATI — The Dallas Mavericks host the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Sunday night.
If the Mavs are going to win and get back into the series, they're going to need Luka Doncic to play at a high level.
He's played great throughout the NBA Playoffs and led Dallas past the No. 1 seeded Phoenix Suns. ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky compared Doncic to Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow.
Burrow seemed to like the comparison when asked about Doncic earlier this week.
"Whenever they [Mavericks] played, someone was talking a little stuff to him on courtside. He was laughing in his face every time he hit a three," Burrow said with a smile. "I thought that was pretty cool."
Burrow led the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI in his second season. Doncic has the Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. Both guys are considered two of the top players in their respective sports.
