Joe Mixon Not in Top Five of Latest Running Back Rankings

The 25-year-old had 1,519 yards from scrimmage last season.

CINCINNATI — Joe Mixon didn't crack the top five of Pro Football Network's running back rankings.

The Bengals star was sixth, behind Jonathan Taylor (1), Nick Chubb (2), Derrick Henry (3), Dalvin Cook (4) and Christian McCaffrey (5).

Mixon was one spot ahead of Alvin Kamara and he also beat out Steelers running back Najee Harris (10).

The 25-year-old has a chance to take his game to another level. It's realistic to expect the Bengals' offensive line to be much improved with Ted Karras, Alex Cappa and La'el Collins in town.

Mixon finished with 1,205 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns last season. He also had 42 receptions for 314 yards and three more scores.

There's even more room for improvement if he can improve as a pass blocker and be on the field on third downs.
