Sue Robinson Recommends Six-Game Suspension for Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson
CINCINNATI — Deshaun Watson could be suspended for six games this season according to multiple reports. Judge Sue Robinson let both parties know that she thinks a six-game suspension is fair.
The NFLPA announced on Sunday that they wouldn't appeal the decision. The NFL has yet to comment on a potential appeal on their end.
Twenty-five women filed civil lawsuits against Watson starting in March 2021. Watson agreed to settle 20 of the 24 civil lawsuits in June.
The star quarterback has denied all allegations against him.
Robinson heard arguments from Watson, the NFLPA and the NFL in June.
The Bengals play the Browns twice this season, including in Week 8 on Halloween night in Cleveland. It looks like a Joe Burrow versus Watson matchup is going to happen.
