CINCINNATI — The Bengals won't be signing veteran right tackle Morgan Moses.

The 30-year-old has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Jets according to Sam Fortier of The Washington Post.

Moses was released by the Washington Football Team last month. While the Bengals never appeared to be in the running for the veteran, it would've bolstered their offensive line room.

Moses' deal is worth up to $5.3 million ($3.6 million base) according to Ian Rapoport.

The veteran will fight for a starting job in New York. If he plays well, then there's no reason why he won't secure a long-term deal with the Jets or another team next offseason.
