The Bills wasted no time getting to work in a bounce back game against the Redskins.

In their first drive of the day - they drove 54 yards in just under four minutes.

The scoring drive was capped off by a Josh Allen six yard touchdown to Cole Beasley who has now scored in three straight games with the Bills.

Washington was held to a punt once again and the Buffalo offense got right back to work.

Allen hit Devin Singletary on a screen pass and the rookie running back ran for 49 yards. Then, Allen got John Brown into the mix with a 25 yard pass to put the Bills back in a scoring position.

But, the red zone management was messy. Back-to-back plays with loss of yards and a Josh Allen fumble. The drive ended with a 42 yard field goal from Stephen Hauschka.

The Redskins turned to their run game in the responding drive - veteran ball carrier Adrian Peterson ran four straight times amassing 64 yards. A field goal put Washington on the board to make the score 10-3.

The third drive for Buffalo led to a third straight scoring success - although it didn't come easy.

Set up on the one yard line, Frank Gore was stopped three straight times. Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott rolled the dice on fourth and goal - Allen ran in the second Buffalo touchdown of the day.

The Bills led 17-3 at the half - Allen had 100 yard passing and Peterson shined with 101 yards rushing.

The offenses slowed on both sides to start the second half. Washington once again was able to contain Gore - this time on a fourth and one call turning the ball over on the Redskins 24 yard line.

The Bills following drive was equally as ugly. Allen looked deep to Brown, who was taken down midair in a non-call that left Bills fans scratching their heads. Buffalo then struggled in special teams when Corey Bojorquez was only able to punt 15 yards.

With the good field position, the Redskins hit another field goal making it a one possession game with a 17-9 score.

Buffalo would end up only needing one good drive in the second half to secure the win. Allen connected with Brown on two long plays - 17 and 23 yards to put the Bills back in the red zone. Singletary scored from two yards out for his second touchdown this season - capping off a 24-9 win.

Allen finished with 160 passing and the Bills leading rusher was Singletary with 95 yards.

With the win, the Bills improve to 6-2 and the Redskins fall to 1-8.
