The Broncos Have two Obvious Candidates to Make Available Ahead of Trade Deadline

Erick Trickel

Going into Thursday night's game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos were riding high and had a chance to get right back into the Division hunt with a win.

Instead, the Broncos put up a showing that was one of the most embarrassing losses in the team’s regular-season history. It was a pitiful performance that saw multiple players give up early on in the game.

If anyone thought this was a team that could compete this year before that game, then all of those thoughts are likely dismissed. The Broncos aren't a good team and they're 'lacking talent all across the roster.

There are ways to help get that talent, and one of them is by trading players who are not in the team's future plans for draft picks. There are multiple players on the Broncos roster the team should make available.

With so many players set to be free agents after this year, and with a few young players that have seen themselves get benched, it is very easy to justify the Broncos having a firesale from their roster.

However, some of these personnel pieces should play a part in the future. In the video above, I highlight the two names the Broncos need to make available.

These veterans have been valuable to the Broncos when they were a competitive team, and now they can be of value on the trade market. Will GM John Elway and the Broncos make any moves prior to the upcoming October 29th trade deadline? Only time will tell.

While a firesale isn’t to be expected, it is possible they make a move or two. Are you ready to see these vets get shipped off in exchange for draft capital? Tell me in the comment section below.

Hell I'd give someone a 5th rounder to take Flacco.

Those 2 are obvious Harris should command at least a 2nd rounder he is still a top corner in this league. As far as Sanders a 4th is what Denver is asking but probably won’t get anything above a 5th Sanders age and his lack of production will be used against him. Others that could get a look are Wolfe and Shelby Harris but long shots to be traded. And honestly if anyone wanted to give up a 1st rounder for Von Miller the Broncos should strongly consider it. They drafted Chubb to be his eventual replacement and from his body language I just don’t think Miller wants to be in Denver anymore. He doesn’t seem to be a fan of Fangio’s defense and a definite lack of production playing in it I think he would welcome a change of scenery. And yes I said 1 first rounder a player of his age would not command 2 those days are behind Miller.

After Superbowl 50 we tried to keep the team competitive instead of cleaning the house and getin solid draft picks for the players that we plan on getting rid of now. 4 years wasted.... Elway doesnt have a clue on how to run the organization and thats why he is considering stepping down. However Flacco when protected has still thrown bad passes and has always been overrated. We need a O-Line and a game manager will work under Fangios Defense.

Sanders is the one guy of all the vets making plays and was showing leadership. He can't catch what's not thrown at him. CKJ has been awful on 3rd down and repeatedly beat for TDs - smoked by Hill as well. Von has not been winning one on ones??? WTF? That's not coaching. Vets NOT making plays they are suppose to make has cost us games.

Do you realize that Peyton Manning's last game was 4 months after Kaepernick played in a game ? this has nothing to do with his fight with the NFL or anything I like him. Repeat after me he is never playing again, not because of anything other then the fact he simply cant after sitting for 4 years. It is over period.
