LISTEN: Gut Reaction | Broncos drop season opener at Raiders 24-16

The Denver Broncos fell to the Oakland Raiders on opening night 24-16. It wasn't exactlly the start Vic Fangio envisioned in his head-coaching debut.
The Raiders came out hot and intense and were the aggressors. The Broncos seemed shook early, failing to score in the first half.
“Just give them credit," Fangio said after the game. "I thought our guys were ready to play. Their first, drive they took it down there, we had a chance to hold it to a field goal, and we didn’t get it done there. But give them credit.”
There's a lot to take away from this game but we have to be careful not to overreact. There are so many new faces on the coaching and player level, plus two new playbooks — it's going to take some time to put it all together.
However, these games count. It's put up or shut up, and the Broncos don't have a lot of time to iron out the kinks.
