The Cleveland Browns have put Juston Burris in the game at strong safety after Morgan Burnett went down with an ankle injury despite a lack of contact on the play. He's listed as questionable to return. It's being reported as an Achilles' injury. Burnett has made a big impact in the first half against the Pittsburgh Steelers, snuffing out a run play on 3rd-and-1 behind the line of scrimmage, tipping a pair of passes and intercepting a pass off of a tipped pass from Denzel Ward.

Burris stepped in nicely for him, at least on his first play of the game. He recorded a sack fumble when the Browns ran an overload blitz sending four from the left. The Steelers simply didn't have enough to block and Burris ended up hitting Rudolph while trying to throw the ball, resulting in a fumble.

Sheldon Richardson tried to scoop the fumble instead of falling on it and it took a bad bounce toward the line of scrimmage. The Steelers were able to recover, but the drive resulted in no points.

Burnett is yet another injury for the Browns at safety that has been juggling all year long. They lost Eric Murray to a knee injury, have had Damarious Randall out a number of weeks and released Jermaine Whitehead. Burris has played and contributed for the Browns this season, but they are running out of bodies at this point.
